South Brittany Classic Racing Centre!

The notion of a centre emerged in 2010 with the arrival of the first classic yachts in the Port-Louis harbor. The Marguerite boat in particular arrived with the idea of creating a gathering of classic yachts that would participate in regattas. 2015 was the year this project took shape, with the choice of the name “ Pôle Course classique Bretagne Sud “.

Every spring since then, the marina has hosted a number of classic sailing events: the 1st Open de France Métrique, Les Voiles de la Citadelle, Les 150 milles de L’AYC…

Port-Louis marina

This port of character has established itself as the ideal place to welcome the legendary classic yachts. Its location near the entrance to the Lorient roadstead, in the heart of Southern Brittany, makes it a fantastic sailing basin open to the Atlantic, with the island of Groix as a backdrop.
The marina faces Lorient La Base, the world’s largest offshore racing facility, which provides regatta organisers with top-quality logistical support and launching facilities.
